U of U game

these are pictures of us at the U of U BYU game. Erik bought us all u of u shirts and took us to the tailgating party. The kids got u of U tattoo's and we all had a great time. We left erik there to try to buy some tickets, Unfortunately he did not bring enough money and he ended up watching it in the visitor center. Next year we will get tickets for at least erik and the boys to go and see a game.

Hayden is a power ranger

So this year for Halloween we decide to have the kids go a the very special costume store. Its name was our basement. We have had so many costumes from both boys plus Christmas gifts and past Halloweens I did not want to go and buy or make one more costume this year. Lilly decide with my help to be Dorthy she had the dress from last spring and i bought the shoes and there you go a way cute Dorthy.

crafty fun

I decided that the kids needed a craft to do on the last day of there brake so we got some old formula cans painted them black and made them look like cats or whatever scary thing they wanted to. This is also the first time I have downloaded pictures with the help of kirsti eriks sister. She has been staying with us while I have been recovering from my surgery. more about that to come.

bangs and bongks

so Sam has decided to crawl about a 3 weeks ago and went to barely being able to move across the floor to now moving very fast and pulling himself up on everything. which then he gets stuck and cry's until i get him or he falls and bangs his head. Also he moves so fast that he does not look at what is in front of him and bonks his head. He is so much work now its a good thing we are done because I do not think I could do this crawling stage again.

I would love to write more especially about our trip to Disneyland but SAM keeps falling and banging his head so I will write more later

school has started

Yea school has started talmage is in first grade and so far hates it. he thinks it is boring and long. I think maybe at school he does not mind it so much it is just when he gets home and is tired and hungry he get mad about it. he is started to get really good at reading all the sudden we have been struggling with it with him , But all the sudden he just seems to be getting it YEA.

Hayden on the other hand loves school he thinks it is brilliant and fun. He likes his class and his teachers and his favorite word is brilliant. before school started we took all the kids camping at the ward camp out where they had a great time playing with all the friends from church. we also were able to go hiking to donut falls and the kids did great they all walked the whole way even lilly.

Lilly will start school next week and she is very excited. right now she is in dance and loves it . she keeps asking when she gets to get on stage and do a dance again. She is a born entertainer. lilly is such a sweet girl every morning she gets up and says good morning mom and today she added today is a beautiful day I am so grateful for her sweet spirit in our home.

Sam is almost crawling he can sit by himself and has for about 3 weeks now. He is still the happiest baby. Except on certain occasions like today I had taken a shower and had a towel on my head and I looked at him and said HI cute baby and smiled and he looked at me and burst into tears full on crying . As soon as I took the towel off he calmed down and was my happy baby again.

I am so grateful for these great kids i love them all so much and will try to keep up on all they do more often so I will not forget all the great and funny things they do.

hail and hell

We had a big summer storm last week and after if was done the streets were flooded and are corn which Erik had been trying to grow all year was flatten. The kids decided to go out and play on the tramp which was covered in hail. I told Hayden not to eat the hail, and he replied ' oh yea mom we don't want to eat the hail because it is all the people that are in hell hu mom". Not sure what to say I just had to laugh and say oh hayden it's not people you are eating its just frozen water. I am not sure he believed me and I am sure we will have to have many more conversation about the difference in hail and hell but at least we got a way cure story from it.


Lilly on the other hand just talks about how she wants a sister and how its not fair that tirah has a sister and brily her Friend has one. I had to explain that we are not having anymore babies but that her cousin tirah can be her sister and even better she won't have to share her clothes


Sam is the most smiley baby is the words we hear from everyone and it's true he is the happiest baby ever. He is always happy and smiley he just a his first gram cracker today at church Eriks idea, and he got himself and dad covered he had fun and I think erik realized that I was wright about not giving him crackers at church

Talmage has just been a good big brother ever time we leave and one of the kids are not with us he says where is so and so. He is always looking out for the other kids, Sam was sick last week with a ear infection, He had a fever and a stuffy nose talmage was all worried saying "should i go and get the humidifier for him ", and" Mom did you give him the medicine." He is such a good big brother

crazy summer

so we have had a crazy summer we started in july with eriks family coming to tow. we all meet at eriks moms house and did fireworks and sleep in the trailer with the family. after that we all went up to island park where we had a great time boating and hanging out with the family. Then erik and I had to go home and leave the kids so that I could go to girls camp with sam Erik was able to come up for part of the time and we had allot of fun. after that we came home and erik went to Idaho to get all the kids and bring them home.

that was just up until the 10th after that doranna and kirsti and heidi plus all the kids and husbands came to stay we decided to go to the temple and then to the gateway to play in the water. but of course all went wrong which i will have to blog later sam needs me

reunion

today we have the chatwin family reunion . erik had to work so i took the kids by my self. it was not to hard untill talmage had a problem with the bathroom. I had to go help him in the boys bathroon at the park .. It had 1 bathroom with a stall and a urional on the outside. i was helping talmage whem some older man came in to go to the bathroom. I yelled to him that i was in there but he did not hear me and went pee .. then I heard him leave and another man came in I yelled again" i am in hear with my boy I need to leave" but he must not have heard be because he went to the bathroom as well. finly i told talmage to go cheeck and see if the man had left . Talmage told me he had so I left the bathroom only to find a man peeing so I just rushed talmage out and we left.

next time i guess i will have to yell louder

we have been craxy busy

lilly and hayden have finished preschool yea and they had a program which they did so good at . lilly is a born performer she is such a ham and hayden just likes to be in front of every one.

My friend allisan pointed out that hayden calls me momma which a have never noticed before but I thought i would journal it so i will remember that

sam rolled over for the first time 1 week ago he was laying on his back and i was working on the computer i looked back and he was on his stomach i thought did i put him on his stomach them i realized he rolled over. I was so excited i got the camera to record him and them he would not do it again. later that day the kids were watching him and he rolled from his back to his stomach and back again. he is getting so big we also fed him rice cereal for the first time 2 days ago and he loved it.

the family went camping this last week to palasades were we saw the manti pagaent the boys loved it lilly was tired so she did not enjoy it as much but they went fishing the next day with dad and had a great time.

erik was able to golf with crish stover which he was very happy about and we all were able to hang out on the beach and and play in the water. we were only there for one night but we had a great time being together as a family

our first blog

I have decided to start blogging because my kids are getting big so fast and i cannot keep up with my journals for them so if I do this I will be able to post A Little everyday and be able to keep if for them to remember the childhood since my memory in not good. Also this has spell check so they will be able to read what I wright.

something that I wanted to get down is every time lilly gets into the car with her Friend brily for school she always says to bri "you look pretty or you are beautiful she is such a sweet girl always trying to be so nice.

Talmage is ending his first year of school kindergarten and will starting first grade next year which I am happy and sad about I will miss having him home in the afternoons and it will be nice to have a little bread as well he is way ready to go all day it is just hard to have him grow up.. Talmage is trying to dig a hole in the back yard to find the hot lava in the earth he thinks it will take him two weeks

Hayden will be starting kindergarten he has his kindergarten roundup tonight and I am all ready sad my babies are getting big all at the same time.. he is way into bugs right now he keep finding bugs and trying to bring them into our house. I have to say bugs stay outside to bugs in the house. he is also our builder he loves to play with blocks to build things with

Sam is a happy baby he is so smiley and coo's all day long as long as he is fed and held he is happy he is starting to grab things and he also likes to suck on his thumb a little. we will see if he turns into a full thumb sucker or stays a binki baby
